This wizard, small relaxing bear, owl, mushrooms and two small log chairs were created with chainsaws to form a small story-telling area in a garden in Altrincham, Cheshire (Oldfield Brow). They were a present from a granfather to his twin grand-children - who are around one year old.

This is a very nice photo of a chainsaw carving I have done in Mobberley. This carving is about 15' high and has starred on BBC North-west News. It was creatd from the stump of an on oak tree which remained in place when the rest of the tree was blown down in early 2007.
