Hello,
Thanks for having a look at my website. I am a sculptor of trees and logs - using mainly chainsaws - from Cheshire, near to Tatton Park. I only use Stihl chainsaws - they are excellent. I take commissions to sculpt trees and logs using Stihl chainsaws and other tools.
If you would like to contact me you can call me on my mobile: 07711 045437, or you can reach me by e-mail at tim.burgess7@btinternet.com (NOTE: I ALWAYS acknowledge e-mails and respond as soon as I can. If for some reason you get no reply to an e-mail then I may not have received it - so please give me a call).
I have created sculptures for individuals, businesses, Councils, schools, the Forestry Commision and charities. I also give chainsaw carving and sculpture demonstrations (including ice-carving) at functions, events, schools, and colleges. Give me a call if you would like a quote - my rates are very reasonable
If you are having a tree felled, then you may want to ask the 'feller' to leave you with a stump that can be sculpted into something of your choice. Alternatively, if the whole of a much-loved tree is removed then you might want to keep some of the trunk for a unique sculpture to be created for your garden/school/workplace. I create sculptures from 'green' wood. That is fresh wood that would otherwise be burnt or left to rot.
Click on this link to view a 5 minute time lapse amusing video of me sculpting an owl with chainsaws for Russell Wood (who made the videoand set it to 'Benny Hill' music!). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lzDIBv-JpyY
You can see photos of some of my chainsaw sculptures by scrolling down the page and 'clicking' on any of the photos on the left or right side of the screen. The photos on the right - under 'Creating the Wizard of Thieves Hollow', show 'step by step' how a carving is created. I do not take or publish photos of all my carvings - for example, owls, eagles, buzzards and bears.
WATCH ME CREATE SCULPTURES FROM TREES AND LOGS: In 2009 I will be sculpting with chainsaws at a variety of shows and competitions - I will publish details here as they become known. Please note: At all the following events chainsaw sculptures can be directly purchased or bought at auction. These are the dates of events I will be at in 2010 (put the names in your computer search engine for direct information about the events):
(Awaiting confirmed dates)
PLEASE NOTE: I am very fortunate to receive sponsorship support from OSWALD RECORD of Trafford Park, (01618722832) who is my local main Stihl equipment suppliers. Their support and service are first class - I would recommend anyone who needs chainsaws or similar to speak to them - they are excellent! My local supplier is Ashley Mowers, Ashley, Cheshire, (01619282048) who are also excellent.
I am also sponsored by SPEEDYSIGNS- who can provide, banners, van and trailer signs, magnetic signs and A-boards - all at a fraction of the price you would normally pay - well worth a call - speak to Mike on 07748-801264.
If you want a tree felled speak to Chris Frankland of Frankland Tree Services M: 0797-3431192, and if you need logs for woodburners - Sam Little is the man - 07899-954085.
